Rector

My name is Fr. Benedict Solomon. I grew up in San Pedro and went to Mary Star of the Sea from first to twelfth grade. I studied in Rome, where I received a Master’s degree in Theology. I taught high school Religion for about 8 years before becoming Rector of Mary Star of the Sea Elementary.

Our children deserve to receive the fullness of the Catholic intellectual tradition. Our mission is to ensure that the students of Mary Star Elementary will graduate, not only knowing what the Church teaches, but able to defend it.

I look forward to aiding the families Mary Star of the Sea as they grow in love of God and neighbor.
