Class2Cloud Online Education Program
Mary Star of the Sea Elementary has worked hard over the past two years to integrate technology into the curriculum and the classroom. This work paid off as students and teachers were able to easily transition online when the State's Covid-19 Safer at Home order was put into effect in March 2020. Many schools offer some form of distance learning. However, the MSSE Class2Cloud program shines in the following ways:
- Morning Prayer and Announcements with Principal and Campus Priests
- Full day of learning
- High expectations for students supported by rigorous and engaging curriculum
- Multiple Synchronous instruction times with teachers throughout the day with whole group, small group and individual attention
- Personalized accounts for each student
- Use of Google Classroom, Zoom and Google Meets to keep students connected and organized
- Weekly school Mass
- Continuing school traditions such as May Crowing, Spirit Day, Student Council Elections, Sports Night, and Talent Show.
- Access to iPads for students that need a device
